"Forgiveness is not a gift you give to someone who hurt you. It's the freedom you choose for yourself."

From The Gift of Forgiveness

Which journey is yours?

Healing Father Wounds runs two separate cohorts simultaneously — one for adult children, one for fathers — so every voice can be heard without filter.

Edition 1

The Child's Journey

For adult men and women ready to name their pain, grieve what was lost, release resentment, and move toward forgiveness — whether or not restoration is possible.

  • You experienced an absent, emotionally unavailable, or harmful father
  • You've carried his absence into your adult relationships, career, or sense of self
  • You want to forgive — but you're not sure how or if you're ready
  • You desire restoration with your father but don't know where to start
  • Your father is deceased and you're still processing unresolved grief
Edition 2

The Father's Journey

For fathers who know they've fallen short — whether through absence, silence, or harm — and are ready to take accountability and pursue restoration with their children.

  • You've been physically or emotionally absent from your child's life
  • You want to repair your relationship but don't know how to start
  • You want to understand how your absence has shaped your child (including a daughter's perspective)
  • You're willing to listen before you speak and take honest accountability
  • You're ready to become a different kind of father — even now

Facilitator The Gift of Forgiveness by Monica S. McQueen

Meet Monica S. McQueen

"I didn't write a book about forgiveness because I had it figured out. I wrote it because I had to find my way through — and I knew I wasn't the only one."

Monica S. McQueen is an entrepreneur, speaker, author, and fatherhood advocate whose work sits at the intersection of healing, restoration, and generational change. As a partner with Fathers Matter ATL, Monica has dedicated herself to bridging the gap between fathers and their children — and equipping both sides to do the hard, necessary work of reconciliation.

Her book, The Gift of Forgiveness: Unpacking the Impact of Fatherlessness and Restoration, is the foundation of this program — a deeply personal account of navigating fatherlessness, choosing forgiveness, and discovering the freedom waiting on the other side. Every session in this cohort is drawn from that lived experience, not borrowed theory.

Monica created Healing Father Wounds because she believes no one should have to carry the weight of a father wound alone — and that it is never too late to heal, to forgive, or to restore what was lost.

Limited seats. Real results.

The beta cohort is intentionally small so we can learn together and shape the full program from your experience.
